Katy is very excited her class is having a party on Friday because school is closing for the summer holidays. So today she is going shopping with her mum and her friends Pamela and Jenny, they are going to buy something nice for the party. She gets up early and she is eating breakfast when her friends arrive at her house.

They all have some cereal and orange juice together and talk about what they want to buy. "I want a pretty pink dress, says Jenny. "I want a skirt with flowers and a white t-shirt." says Pamela. I don't know what I want to buy," says Katy. "Something nice and not too expensive."

Katy's mum drives them to the mall they go into a large shop and look at all the clothes. There are so many and they don't know where to look first. Katy chooses some jeans and shorts and Jenny looks at a pink dress and a yellow one. “Try them on," says Katy's mum. Katy and Jenny take their clothes and Pamela takes a blue skirt and a flowery skirt. They put on the clothes and look in the mirror, they are happy with their things and decide to buy some of them.

Jenny buys a pink dress and pink sandals. Pamela buys a long, skirt with small flowers on it, a white t- shirt and black sandals. Katy chooses pink shorts and a t-shirt with a pink heart on it. "You all look so pretty in your new clothes, I'm sure you will have such a great time at the party." They all go to the café to have some ice-cream and juice before they go home.

Hi Friends! I'm Peter from Hungary. I go to a primary school. School starts on 19 September. It's often sunny in the beginning of autumn. And it is a rich season because trees are full of fruits. But in October and November it's usually cold and windy. It rains a lot and it's often foggy. The leaves of the trees fall down.

Winter is usually very cold. The temperature falls under zero. It often shows and there are stormy winds. It is good to sit inside by the fire when the cold wind is blowing outside. Many people like winter because of winter sports like skating, skiing, snowboarding etc. In Hungary there aren't very high mountains so people go abroad skiing.

I like spring a lot because after the long cold, wet and foggy days it is warm again. Trees and bushes are full of blossom. You can see lovely spring flowers everywhere. The weather is quite changeable especially in April. It often rains and there can be hard winds too. Sometimes it's cloudy but most of the time it is warm and sunny.

My favourite season is summer. It is very hot in July and August. Sometimes there are quick showers or rainstorms with thunder and lightning. There are lots of fruit in summer.

Children prefer the summer to all other seasons because there is no school and we can take our holidays.
